Forecast models from sources including the Met Office and regional European services indicate a September 12 high in Amsterdam most likely between 21–23 °C, driven by southwesterly flow advecting mild maritime air under partly cloudy skies with limited daytime heating from variable cloud cover. This positions 22 °C as the market leader at 54.5 % implied probability, consistent with ensemble guidance showing afternoon maxima near 21–22 °C after morning fog or low stratus clears. Historical climatology for mid-September places the long-term average high around 19–20 °C, so current conditions reflect a modest positive anomaly without strong high-pressure subsidence to push readings toward 24 °C or above. Low precipitation odds and moderate winds further support the tight clustering around 21–22 °C, with minimal expected revisions before resolution.
