This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Dallas Love Field Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 14 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kdal This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Persistent high pressure and southerly flow are keeping Dallas under a strong heat dome, with official and model guidance showing overnight lows near 80–82°F on September 14.** Clear skies and southerly winds of 5–12 mph limit radiative cooling after daytime highs of 98–101°F, while dew points in the low-to-mid 70s maintain high humidity and elevated minimum temperatures. This setup follows a brief period of storms earlier in the week and aligns with a multi-week dry, above-normal pattern driven by the subtropical ridge. National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts (GFS/ECMWF) show high confidence in this regime through Monday, with any cooler air tied to a possible late-week cold front remaining well beyond the resolution window. Historical September 14 averages (high ~90°F, low ~71°F) underscore how far current conditions deviate, but the market’s near-even odds between ≤71°F and ≥90°F reflect trader focus on tail-risk model spread and the narrow band of plausible outcomes clustered around 78–82°F. No major forecast shifts have occurred in the past 48 hours to alter this baseline.
