Official National Weather Service observations recorded a minimum of 66°F at San Francisco International Airport on September 9, 2026, aligning precisely with the 66-67°F bin that commands over 95% implied probability. This value occurred amid a pronounced warm anomaly, with the daily maximum reaching 94°F—19°F above the 1991-2020 normal—driven by clear skies, light southwest winds, and elevated dew points that limited nocturnal cooling. Historical September lows average near 56°F, making this reading a significant outlier consistent with the ongoing heat event. Market consensus reflects high confidence in the verified station data, though minor discrepancies could arise from alternative microclimate stations or rounding conventions in final climatological summaries.
