This market will resolve according to the stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at which Mexico is eliminated. If Mexico wins the tournament, this market will resolve to 'Champion'. If Mexico is disqualified, withdraws, is removed from the tournament, or the tournament is partially completed and not finished for any reason, this market will resolve according to the furthest completed round reached by Mexico based on the best available official information. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled in full, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to 'Other'. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Mexico enters the 2026 FIFA World Cup as co-host with automatic qualification and a favorable Group A draw against South Africa, South Korea, and Czechia. Recent results show El Tri undefeated in 2026, including a 2-0 opening win over South Africa and strong friendly victories that underscore improved cohesion under coach Javier Aguirre. Home-soil support and the expanded 48-team format (advancing top-two plus best third-place sides) bolster implied probabilities for reaching the Round of 32 or 16. However, Mexico’s long-standing knockout-stage limitations, modest squad depth relative to elite sides, and historical group-stage exits inform trader consensus around mid-tournament elimination rather than deeper runs.
