**Trader consensus on a 90-91°F high for Atlanta on August 28, 2026, reflects National Weather Service observations and model guidance showing mostly sunny skies, light winds, and a daytime maximum stabilizing near 90°F.** Following several days of 90s earlier in the month, August 27 recorded 89°F amid increased cloud cover and scattered showers that tempered further warming. This aligned with climatological norms near 87°F for the date while recent atmospheric conditions, including modest moisture and stable steering patterns, prevented the brief spikes needed for 92°F or higher. Official station data and preliminary climatological reports (CF6) confirm the range, with resolution thresholds based on verified airport or downtown observations. A late-day heat burst or station-specific anomaly could theoretically shift the exact bin, but verified measurements make that highly unlikely.
