**Current forecasts from multiple meteorological sources, including WeatherBug, Met Office, and regional models, indicate a September 3 high temperature in Busan of 27–29 °C (roughly 81–84 °F), driven by northeasterly winds, increasing cloud cover, and patchy rain that limit daytime heating.** These conditions follow a period of typical late-summer warmth on September 2 (highs near 29–30 °C) but reflect a cooling influence as seasonal transition strengthens, with average early-September highs historically around 27 °C. Humidity remains elevated (70–80 %), yet stronger NE flow and 30–50 % precipitation chances suppress peaks below recent values. Market-implied probabilities cluster around 29–31 °C because traders weigh this consensus against minor model spread and the precise official measurement criteria at Busan’s primary station. Lower outcomes (28 °C or below) carry reduced weight due to residual warmth, while 32 °C+ probabilities stay minimal absent any warming advection or clearer skies. Updated model runs and Korea Meteorological Administration briefings over the next 24 hours represent the key near-term catalysts that could shift these odds.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rkpk
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
