United Russia holds a commanding lead in the Saint Petersburg Legislative Assembly election after three days of voting concluded on September 20, with preliminary party-list results showing the party at approximately 55% and strong positioning in single-member districts. This aligns with the party's established dominance in regional contests under Russia's mixed electoral system, which allocates half the 50 seats proportionally above a 5% threshold and half via first-past-the-post. Other parties, including New People, CPRF, LDPR, and the Greens, cleared or approached the threshold in early tallies but trail far behind. The market's implied probability for United Russia as the top party reflects these confirmed vote patterns, though final certification on September 25 could incorporate remaining precincts or procedural reviews that occasionally adjust margins in Russian regional elections.
