Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies indicate Dallas will experience sunny skies and light easterly winds today, supporting a daily maximum near 101–102°F amid ongoing heat advisory conditions typical of late-August North Texas. This positioning reflects trader assessment of atmospheric stability and minimal cloud cover allowing strong daytime heating, offset by slight uncertainty in the precise peak due to microscale variations in surface observations and model spread. Historical August averages near 92–95°F provide baseline context, while current dew points around 65–70°F contribute to elevated heat indices without altering the dry-bulb maximum. Updated model runs and official station data later today will refine resolution between the closely matched 98–99°F and 100–101°F outcomes.
