Recent forecasts from the Met Office and other models indicate a mild overnight period for London on September 2, with minimum temperatures likely stabilizing near 14–16°C amid persistent cloud cover, light southerly winds, and limited radiative cooling. This setup contrasts with the long-term average low of about 12.7°C for the date, as an incoming mild air mass from the southwest and high humidity suppress sharper drops. Model consensus supports these ranges, with minimal overnight cooling expected under overcast skies and possible drizzle, positioning 15–16°C as the dominant market-implied outcomes. Updated guidance closer to the date could refine these probabilities.
