Paul St-Pierre Plamondon leads the market at 71.5% because the Parti Québécois has held a consistent edge in voting intentions for months, recently polling near 30% ahead of the October 5, 2026 election. The party’s strength among francophone voters and Plamondon’s established profile as the longest-serving current leader reinforce trader expectations of a PQ victory. Christine Fréchette’s CAQ sits third in recent surveys around 19-22% despite her April 2026 leadership win and swearing-in as premier, while Charles Milliard’s Liberals hover near 27% after recovering ground but still trail. Low probabilities for Éric Duhaime, Ruba Ghazal, and others reflect their parties’ weaker standings. Recent outreach by Plamondon to anglophone voters and ongoing three-way polling dynamics remain the main variables that could shift the implied probabilities before election day.
