Recent forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Foreca, and Yr.no point to a September 8 high near 17–19 °C in Helsinki, driven by a shift to southerly flow that advects milder maritime air ahead of an approaching frontal system. Model consensus shows mostly cloudy skies with a chance of light rain, which would cap daytime heating and keep the maximum below the seasonal record but above the long-term September average of roughly 16.7 °C. Trader emphasis on the 18 °C outcome reflects this narrow range, while slight model spread on precipitation timing and wind strength sustains smaller probabilities for 17 °C or 19 °C. Updated runs from official agencies over the next 48 hours will refine the exact peak before market resolution.
