Forecast consensus from National Weather Service and other models points to a high near 82°F in New York City today under partly cloudy skies, light northwest winds, and stable high pressure, aligning with the market's strong 66.5% implied probability on 82-83°F. This outcome reflects typical early-September conditions, with daytime heating from a morning low near 64°F expected to peak in the low 80s absent stronger insolation or advection. The 25% odds on 80-81°F capture minor downside risks from increased cloud cover, while slim chances above 84°F would require unexpected clearing or warmer boundary-layer air. Official observations from Central Park and LaGuardia will determine the daily maximum for market resolution.
