The Trump Gold Card program, an executive-order initiative offering expedited permanent residency for a $1 million contribution plus processing fees, faces significant implementation barriers that align with the market's 64.8% consensus on just 1-100 sales in 2026. As of spring 2026, official reports indicate minimal traction, with only one approval confirmed alongside limited applications and payments received, despite earlier administration claims of substantial revenue that markets have discounted pending finalized transactions. Delays in vetting, legal scrutiny over eligibility criteria, and slower-than-expected interest among high-net-worth applicants have constrained volume, while the 101-1k bucket at 14.8% reflects modest upside potential if processing accelerates before year-end. Trader pricing embeds these rollout frictions and historical precedents for investor-visa uptake under similar frameworks.
