Model consensus from NWS and other agencies points to a high in the mid-60s for Seattle on September 15 as a weak upper-level trough lingers offshore, sustaining marine air and light northerly flow that limits daytime warming. Recent rain has kept soils moist and cloud cover elevated, while sea surface temperatures near 55–57°F further cap afternoon peaks near 65°F. Minor model spread arises from timing of any residual drizzle or breaks in overcast skies, which could nudge the daily maximum between 64–67°F. Updated runs from the National Weather Service and ensemble guidance expected in the next 24–48 hours will refine wind and cloud trends ahead of market resolution.
