Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a lowest temperature near 75°F for Austin on September 5, driven by persistent southerly flow, warm advection, and high dew points that limit nocturnal cooling under partly cloudy skies. This places the implied probability heavily on the 74-75°F and adjacent 72-77°F bins, with the 30% chance assigned to 67°F or below reflecting residual uncertainty from potential model shifts or localized radiational cooling. Historical September 5 lows average around 71°F, so current conditions remain slightly above normal amid stable late-summer patterns without strong frontal passages. Traders monitor evening forecast updates for any adjustments in wind or cloud cover that could refine the overnight minimum.
