Current National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Los Angeles on September 3 point to highs in the upper 70s to low 80s°F after morning low clouds and fog clear, driven by typical early-September onshore marine layer flow that moderates coastal temperatures near the historical 76.7°F average high. This climatological baseline, combined with light southwest winds and minimal warming aloft, positions the 76-79°F market ranges as the leading outcomes, while the low probability on 80°F+ reflects limited potential for stronger offshore influence or model shifts before resolution. Fresh NWS point forecasts and final official observations will determine exact readings.
