Recent official forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service highlight prevailing southwest monsoon conditions with dry weather expected through early September, supporting daily maximum temperatures of 32–34°C. Model consensus for September 4 specifically points to afternoon highs near 32–33°C at observation stations, consistent with the seasonal mean daily maximum of about 31.6°C and limited convective activity. This evidence underpins the market's strong weighting toward 33°C as the most probable outcome, while lower odds on 34°C reflect the modest chance of localized peaks under continued haze-influenced dryness. Updated short-range guidance in coming hours could refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
