Recent cool frontal passage has driven Seattle’s forecast high for September 4 into the mid- to upper-60s °F range, well below the 73 °F climatological average. National Weather Service and private-model consensus shows partly sunny skies with light northwest flow after Wednesday–Thursday showers, limiting daytime heating while marine air keeps the boundary layer cool. This positions 66–69 °F bins as the dominant outcomes in trader consensus, with lower probabilities assigned to 70 °F-plus readings that would require stronger onshore warming or delayed clearing. Updated model runs through early September 3 have remained stable, reinforcing the current implied probabilities ahead of final observational verification.
