Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other sources project a high in the upper 60s to low 70s Fahrenheit for Seattle on September 20 under partly sunny to sunny skies with light northerly winds. This range aligns with the market's tight clustering around 68–73°F bins, reflecting trader assessment of modest daytime heating from September solar angles and persistent marine air influence that caps extremes. Clear conditions overnight have allowed efficient radiational cooling, setting up a typical diurnal swing without significant advection or cloud cover to alter the peak. Historical averages near 69°F provide context, while minor model spread on exact timing of clearing or wind shifts accounts for the split probabilities. Updated NWS guidance or morning observations could refine the outcome before resolution.
