**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models point to sunny, hot conditions under a stable high-pressure system with light south-southeast winds, producing afternoon highs of 101–103°F in Dallas.** This aligns with late-August climatology for the region, where typical highs average near 94°F but heat builds under clear skies and moderate humidity that elevates heat index values above 105°F. Recent model runs show little day-to-day shift, supporting trader consensus around 100–101°F as the most probable peak while assigning modest probability to 102–103°F if temperatures edge higher late in the afternoon. Low precipitation chances and consistent steering patterns reduce upside risk beyond 103°F.
