**Current forecasts from multiple meteorological models indicate a high near 25°C for Istanbul on September 21, 2026, aligning with the dominant market-implied probability of 66.5% for that outcome.** September climatology shows average daily highs declining from late-summer peaks toward 24–26°C, driven by shortening daylight, moderating solar angles, and increasing influence of cooler maritime air from the Black Sea and Marmara regions. Recent observations and short-range model runs (including ECMWF and regional guidance) depict stable high pressure, light to moderate northeasterly or variable winds, and partly cloudy conditions that limit extreme daytime heating while preventing significant cooling. No incoming fronts or anomalous warmth are evident in the latest data, keeping the distribution tightly centered on 24–26°C. The secondary 29.5% probability on 24°C reflects minor model spread and the possibility of slightly stronger onshore flow or increased cloud cover. Resolution will depend on official maximum temperature readings from Turkish State Meteorological Service stations, with the market reflecting traders’ assessment of these near-term atmospheric conditions.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LTFM
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
