Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent Met Office guidance and ensemble model runs indicate a largely settled high-pressure regime over southern England through mid-June, limiting nocturnal radiative cooling and supporting overnight minima around 12–14°C under partly cloudy skies with light winds. Ensemble spreads from ECMWF and UKMO show modest variability in cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing for the 16–17 June period, producing a tight clustering of forecast minima near 16–18°C that aligns with the market’s leading probabilities. Historical June climatology places typical London lows near 12°C, so current guidance reflects above-normal warmth tied to the post-May heat anomaly and suppressed Atlantic flow. Updated model cycles on 16 June will refine cloud and wind details ahead of the 17th’s resolution window.
