Current National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 7 project a high near 89–91°F under partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms and 20–35% precipitation chances. Denver’s mile-high elevation typically caps daytime maxima relative to sea-level sites, while increasing moisture and cloud cover from storm development can further moderate peaks by limiting solar heating. Recent days have featured above-average warmth with highs in the low 90s, supporting trader emphasis on the 90–91°F outcome at 41.5% implied probability. Ensemble guidance shows limited spread around this range, though afternoon storm timing remains the key variable that could shift the final maximum by a degree or two before resolution.
