Recent opinion polls ahead of Latvia’s October 3, 2026 Saeima election show Apvienotais saraksts (AS) maintaining a narrow lead at 17–19%, ahead of Suverēnā vara (SV), Latvija pirmajā vietā (LPV), and Progresīvie (PRO) clustered in the low-to-mid teens. This sustained polling edge underpins the market’s elevated probability for AS as the plurality winner. LPV and SV trail as right-wing populist alternatives with regional and value-conservative support, while PRO draws progressive voters and the governing Jaunā Vienotība (JV) and Nacionālā Apvienība (NA) register lower single-digit figures. Traders appear to weigh these trends alongside the 5% threshold and coalition arithmetic in a fragmented field, with no major late-campaign shocks reported in the past month.
