Recent polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13, 2026, parliamentary election show Sverigedemokraterna (SD) consistently ahead of Moderaterna (M), with SD at approximately 20% support and M near 17% in surveys such as Demoskop’s early August release. This positioning reflects SD’s stronger standing within the right-leaning Tidö bloc, where the party has maintained or slightly increased its share since 2022 while M has seen modest declines. The Social Democrats lead overall at around 30%, but the direct SD-M contest remains the key variable for this market. Trader consensus at 82.5% for SD aligns with these aggregated voting intentions and the absence of major shifts in bloc dynamics or late-campaign developments that would reverse the gap.
