Consensus forecasts from multiple meteorological sources point to a high near 100°F in Austin on August 29, 2026, under mostly sunny skies with light southerly winds and minimal precipitation risk, aligning with the market's leading 100-101°F outcome at 63.5% implied probability. Persistent high pressure and typical late-summer atmospheric patterns across central Texas support temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s, consistent with historical August averages around 96°F but elevated by current conditions. Minor model variations and heat index considerations introduce limited uncertainty around exact peak readings at official stations, while the strong clustering of probabilities reflects trader assessment of forecast stability ahead of final observations.
