Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a high of 28–29°C for Shanghai on September 15 under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with northeasterly winds of 10–13 mph and negligible precipitation risk. This consensus supports the market's heavy weighting toward 28°C, reflecting typical early-autumn stabilization after mid-September peaks near 30°C and alignment with climatological averages of 27–28°C. Persistent high pressure and moderate humidity around 45–55% limit daytime heating, while model runs show minimal spread in maximum temperatures. Traders appear to price in low upside potential for 29°C or higher given the steady steering flow and absence of warming advection ahead of the 24-hour resolution window.
