Trader consensus in this Singapore temperature market reflects strong alignment with official meteorological guidance from the National Environment Agency and regional models, which currently favor a maximum near 32–33°C for September 17. Equatorial conditions, moderated by seasonal northeast monsoon influences and typical September humidity levels, support this narrow range, with historical September maxima averaging around 31–32°C. Recent observational data show no significant warming anomalies or convective suppression that would push readings higher, keeping the 34°C or above outcomes at low implied probabilities. Forecast uncertainty remains modest due to the short lead time, though afternoon sea-breeze effects and localized showers could still trim the peak by 1°C. Updated model runs and the next official daily briefing are the primary near-term catalysts that could shift positioning before resolution.
