Recent National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts indicate a minimum temperature in the mid-60s Fahrenheit for Los Angeles on September 18, with clear to mostly clear skies overnight and light variable winds favoring modest radiative cooling under a stable high-pressure regime. Marine layer influence and typical September onshore flow limit further drops, aligning with the long-term average low near 63°F at Los Angeles International Airport. Model consensus shows little spread, though subtle differences in boundary-layer moisture or exact timing of clearing could shift the recorded low between the 64–65°F and 66–67°F bins that dominate market-implied odds. No significant synoptic features are expected to alter this pattern before resolution.
