Recent forecast models from sources like WeatherBug and Meteologix project a high near 13°C for Wellington on September 12 under partly cloudy skies with light southerly winds, consistent with the spring climatology where mean daily maxima average 13.6–15°C. This positions 14°C as the leading market outcome at 54.5% implied probability, followed by 13°C at 24%, reflecting model consensus on mild conditions without strong warming or cooling influences. Short-term variability in steering patterns and cloud cover could shift the exact peak by 1–2°C, with new model runs and official MetService observations providing key updates ahead of resolution. Historical September extremes rarely exceed 18°C or drop below 10°C at this location.
