Official observations from the Japan Meteorological Agency recorded a daily maximum of 22°C in central Tokyo on September 10, 2026, driven by a sharp cool front with persistent rain, northerly winds, and high humidity that suppressed daytime heating. This produced autumn-like conditions well below the month’s typical 27–30°C range, aligning trader consensus with verified station data rather than models. Minor resolution risk remains from rounding conventions at specific urban stations or slight revisions in final quality-controlled records, though such adjustments are rare once preliminary readings are released.
