Forecast models from agencies like the China Meteorological Administration indicate Shanghai's September 10 maximum will reach 30°C under mostly cloudy skies, light northwest winds, and moderate humidity near 70 percent, aligning with typical late-summer conditions in the Yangtze Delta where daily highs average 28–30°C. Official station data through mid-afternoon confirm readings tracking precisely to this threshold without exceeding it, producing the market's near-certain 99.8 percent implied probability on 30°C. A sudden clearing trend or localized urban heat-island intensification could push readings to 31°C, though current steering patterns and moisture make such shifts unlikely before sunset.
