Amir Ohana leads the Likud primary market due to his dominant showing in recent internal polls among the party’s 140,000 registered members, where he has topped surveys with support near 73 percent ahead of the August 17 vote to select the Knesset slate. As Knesset Speaker and a Netanyahu-aligned figure, Ohana benefits from strong backing within the core membership base, while adjustments granting the party chair additional reserved slots have intensified competition for the remaining positions. Other contenders such as Tally Gotliv, Yariv Levin, and Boaz Bismuth trail significantly in member preferences, reflecting the influence of loyalist networks and the limited path for challengers in this cycle’s crowded field. The outcome will shape Likud’s candidate list for the October legislative election.
