**Current National Weather Service forecasts for Houston point to overnight lows in the mid-70s on September 19, driven by a warm, moist air mass with light southeast winds and mostly clear skies that limit strong radiational cooling.** Highs near 94°F the prior day and dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s sustain elevated minimum temperatures, consistent with above-normal conditions observed through mid-September. Recent drier air advection from the northeast briefly lowered humidity on the 18th but did not alter the overall warm pattern. Historical September averages near 72°F and occasional cooler outbreaks create market-implied odds favoring the 69°F-or-below bin at 41%, though ensemble guidance and recent observations support the clustered 74–77°F outcomes. Updated model runs and the next NHC/NOAA briefing remain key near-term catalysts.
