Current National Weather Service and model guidance indicate an overnight low of 60–64°F for Los Angeles on September 2, driven by clear skies, light winds, and typical marine-layer moderation that limits radiational cooling. This aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 64.7°F while remaining well above the all-time record of 55°F. Trader sentiment reflects uncertainty around small forecast shifts in dew points or onshore flow that could push readings into the upper 50s or hold them near 65°F, with probabilities distributed across adjacent bins as a result. Updated model runs and evening observations from Los Angeles International Airport will provide the final data for market resolution.
