Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate overnight lows for Los Angeles on September 5 near 63–66°F under mostly clear skies with light onshore flow and minimal marine layer influence. This positions 66–67°F and 64–65°F ranges as leading market outcomes, consistent with climatological September averages around 64°F and the absence of strong high-pressure ridges or cold-air advection that could drive sharper drops. Stable conditions and limited model spread support trader focus on these bins, with resolution hinging on official observations at primary stations like downtown Los Angeles or LAX. Updated model runs and any late-day marine layer changes remain key near-term variables.
