Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a high near 23–25°C for Mexico City on September 5, driven by increased cloud cover and scattered showers tied to the ongoing rainy season and tropical moisture influx. These conditions limit surface radiative heating while enhancing evaporative cooling, keeping maxima below the long-term September average of 25°C at the city's 2,240 m elevation. Market pricing favoring 26°C or higher reflects trader focus on potential model spreads, localized urban heat effects, or brief afternoon clearing that could allow brief warming spikes. Key variables include steering winds, convective timing, and any last-minute adjustments from CONAGUA or international guidance before resolution.
