Recent July 2026 surveys from Paraná Pesquisas and Real Time Big Data show Eduardo Gomes (PL) leading overall intent, with Alexandre Guimarães (MDB), Carlos Gaguim (União Brasil), and Eli Borges (Republicanos) clustered closely behind amid a fragmented field. Irajá Abreu (PSD) has stepped aside from re-election, opening space while new registrations—including Nilton Santos (NOVO) and others—have intensified competition for the second Senate seat on October 4. Coalition alignments, asset disclosures, and local endorsements are shaping support, yet no single challenger has pulled clear of the pack. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, with the second-place outcome remaining sensitive to turnout patterns, late shifts among undecided voters, and any further withdrawals or high-profile alliances before election day.
