Forecast models from global ensembles indicate Jeddah's September 19 maximum will most likely fall in the 36–38 °C range, with the market assigning the highest implied probability to 37 °C. This narrow spread reflects typical late-summer variability driven by Red Sea sea-surface temperatures near 32 °C, light northerly winds, and limited cloud cover that allow strong daytime heating over the coastal plain. Small differences among 36 °C, 37 °C, and 38 °C hinge on the precise timing of any sea-breeze onset and subtle shifts in 850 hPa thickness shown in the latest ECMWF and GFS runs. Historical September maxima in Jeddah average 36–37 °C, so the current distribution aligns closely with climatology while leaving room for modest model adjustments before the 19 September observation window closes.
