Official National Weather Service observations recorded a maximum temperature of 89°F at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on September 9, 2026, aligning precisely with the market’s 100% consensus on the 88-89°F bin. This outcome reflects clear to partly cloudy skies, light easterly winds, and a high-pressure pattern that produced conditions 3°F above the 1991-2020 normal of 86°F, with no precipitation or significant cloud cover to suppress daytime heating. Traders priced in near-certainty once preliminary climatological reports confirmed the reading, consistent with regional model consensus and surface observations. Only an unforeseen revision to the official daily summary or station-specific data quality issue could alter resolution, though such changes are rare for established airport stations.
