National Weather Service and private forecast models show strong consensus for Dallas highs near 97–100°F on September 19 under clear skies, light south winds, and low dew points that favor efficient daytime heating. Persistent high pressure and subsidence have maintained above-normal temperatures across north Texas, with recent model runs holding steady without significant cooling signals. These conditions align with the market’s heavy weighting toward 96–97°F and 98–99°F outcomes, while the slim odds on 100°F+ reflect the narrow gap between guidance and historical extremes for the date. Final NWS verification will resolve the market once official observations are recorded.
