Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 9, 2026, converge on a daily high in the low to mid-80s Fahrenheit under partly to mostly sunny skies with light easterly winds and minimal precipitation risk, consistent with the 81.5°F climatological average. Model runs show no strong warm advection or downslope wind enhancement to push readings above 85°F, while a modest cool anomaly from upstream Pacific flow caps potential for sub-80°F outcomes. Recent observations from September 8, when the high reached 86°F amid clearer conditions, have tempered expectations for further warming today. With resolution hinging on official NWS maximum temperature at Denver International Airport, trader consensus reflects high confidence in the 82–83°F bin based on the latest guidance and limited forecast spread.
