Republican Mike Carey holds a strong edge in Ohio's 15th Congressional District heading into the November 2026 general election. The seat carries a Republican-leaning partisan voting index, and Carey advanced unopposed after the May 5 primaries. Democrat Don Leonard secured his party's nomination in a narrow contest against former state representative Adam Miller. These outcomes align with Cook Political Report's solid Republican rating and historical voting patterns in the district. Traders price the Republican candidate well ahead, reflecting incumbency advantages, limited Democratic recruitment success, and the absence of major recent developments that would shift the balance ahead of the general election campaign.
