Trader consensus favors 20–21°C for Helsinki’s September 2 high, as short-range ensemble forecasts from ECMWF and national models converge on afternoon maxima near 19–20°C under partly cloudy skies and moderate northwesterly winds. Mild Atlantic air under southwesterly flow supports temperatures slightly above the early-September climatological average of 16–18°C, while limited cloud cover and weak mixing keep peaks from exceeding 21°C in most runs. Minor model differences in timing of any weak frontal boundary or local sea-breeze effects create the narrow spread between the two leading outcomes; the next updated guidance and real-time observations will likely tighten probabilities before resolution.
