Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on August 27 project a daytime high near 91°F, with mostly sunny skies giving way to scattered afternoon thunderstorms and southeast winds of 5-10 mph. High humidity levels will push heat index values above 105°F, though cloud cover and precipitation timing introduce modest uncertainty around whether the peak reaches the low 90s or edges into the mid-90s. These conditions align closely with the long-term August average high of 90.5°F, supporting the market's heavy weighting toward the 90-91°F bin at 59.5% implied probability while leaving room for 92-93°F outcomes if storms develop later than expected. Updated model runs later today will clarify any shifts in maximum temperature before resolution.
