**Persistent warm and humid conditions, driven by subtropical summer patterns and elevated dew points near 78–80°F, position 80–81°F as the leading market outcome for Miami’s lowest temperature on August 29.** Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and private models consistently project overnight lows of 80–84°F under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with light easterly winds, limiting radiational cooling. Recent August 2026 observations show daily lows frequently in the upper 70s to low 80s amid above-normal warmth and high humidity, with no approaching cold fronts or dry-air intrusions to enhance overnight drops. Historical climatology places typical late-August minima near 77–78°F, but the current elevated baseline—supported by heat indices exceeding 100°F during the day—shifts trader consensus toward the warmer bins. Upcoming model runs and NWS updates through the evening of August 28 will refine precipitation timing and cloud cover, which could modestly influence the exact minimum if heavier showers materialize.
