**Forecast consensus from National Weather Service and private models points to a minimum temperature near 80°F in Miami on September 2, driven by persistent warm, humid conditions typical of late-summer subtropical patterns.** East-to-southeast flow off the Atlantic, elevated dew points in the mid-70s, and limited nocturnal cooling under partly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms keep overnight lows elevated. Historical climatology shows early-September Miami minima averaging 76–78°F, but current guidance from the NWS Miami forecast office and ensemble runs favors 80–81°F as the most likely range. Cloud cover and convective activity overnight can further suppress radiative cooling, while any stronger sea breeze or clearer skies could allow a brief dip toward 78–79°F. Updated model runs and afternoon observations on September 1 will refine the exact minimum before market resolution.
