Persistent easterly flow from the Atlantic and a moist, unstable air mass are sustaining overnight lows in the low 80s°F for Miami on September 1, aligning with trader emphasis on the 80-81°F and 78-79°F bins. Official National Weather Service and model guidance show minimal radiative cooling under humid conditions and scattered convection, with forecast minima clustered near 80-82°F and little support for sharper drops absent a stronger frontal passage or tropical influence. Afternoon thunderstorms may briefly suppress daytime readings but leave nighttime temperatures anchored by the Gulf Stream and urban effects. Updated model runs and the next NWS Miami forecast discussion remain the key near-term catalysts for any shift in market-implied odds.
