Recent National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 1 indicate partly cloudy skies with a high near 65°F under moderate southwest onshore flow, keeping the marine layer in place and limiting daytime heating. This coastal regime, typical for early September, produces the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 66–71°F as traders weigh potential for brief afternoon clearing versus persistent stratus. Key differentiators among the leading bins include exact wind direction and timing of any marine-layer erosion, which can shift peak temperatures by 2–4°F. Historical analogs show September 1 averages near 70°F, but current model consensus favors the cooler side absent strong offshore flow. Final NWS observations will resolve the market.
