Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a high near 88–90°F in Miami on September 3 under typical late-summer subtropical conditions, with high humidity, southeast winds, and afternoon thunderstorm chances that often cap peak readings. This aligns with the historical average high of 90°F and supports the market’s strong weighting toward the 90–91°F bin. Afternoon convection and associated cloud cover or rain-cooled air masses remain the main variables that could shift the maximum a degree or two lower, while any delay in storm development or stronger insolation would favor the upper-80s or low-90s outcomes. Updated model runs and official forecasts issued in the next 24 hours will provide the clearest signal ahead of market resolution.
